This was an independent project that aimed to bring the climate crisis to the foreground while collaborating with a brand that is making changes to help this crisis.

I chose to collaborate with Vivienne Westwood as they have made substantial changes in their brand to advocate a green planet, specifically within the fashion industry.
Vivienne Westwood x V&A
I chose to situate the exhibition/installation at the V&A, in the fashion gallery that regularly contains temporary exhibitions. The V&A and Vivienne Westwood have had a long history of working together, with many of Westwoods clothing exhibited in the Museum.
The Pods
These are the pods that are situated in the exhibition/ installation. Each pod exhibits a different issue within fast fashion production. These elements are oil usage, drought and Co2 emissions. Each visual on the pods are shown through a projector.

Each of the mannequins are wearing one item from a recent collection by Vivienne Westwood.

The transparent pod is a donation section that the public can donate their fast-fashion clothing to be recycled and made into a new collection by Westwood and the money raised from this will be donated to a climate crisis charity.
